A new kind of journey
I've spent my life traveling – and writing and taking photos along the way. Tibet, Cambodia, Southwest China, and places in between. Forty years of arriving somewhere unfamiliar and trying to make sense of it.
I've been involved in building websites over the years, but I've never written a line of code. I've always left that to the experts.
Now, amid all the chatter about AI, I'm on a different kind of journey – traveling with Claude, an AI made by Anthropic, to see what this new world is all about. We're building this site together as we go. I describe what I want, Claude writes the code. They call it "vibe coding."
I'm not sure where it leads. But that's always been true of the journeys worth taking.
